UN peacekeepers are having their engineer troops remove debris, the result of weeks of street fighting and rioting, from streets in the capital. Nominally a measure to improve the quality of life, this will also allow UN armored vehicles to more quickly rush troops to new outbreaks of violence by (political or criminal) gangs.
