Despite the ceasefire, some 30 rebels attacked a plastics factory near the capital. There was some damage to the building, but no injuries. The attacks appears to be connected with the extortion racket the rebels have been running to fund their operations. The case fire was to put a halt to the extortion as well, but apparently some of the rebels needed the money. Other rebels have demanded payments from newspapers.
