Croatia has announced plans to cut its military by 40 percent over the next four years and to restructure its forces. The Army will be established as 25,000 troops organized into three corps (East, Central, and Southwest). The 4th Guards Brigade will be transferred to the Navy and transformed into the new Croatian Marine Corps.--Stephen V Cole
