The Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel has issued a report stating that NASA does not have enough money budgeted for spare parts and maintenance to keep the space shuttles flying through 2020. NASA has programmed in only what it is spending now, and the shuttles are requiring more maintenance (and more expensive maintenance) as their systems age.--Stephen V Cole
