The Maharishi Yogi organization has paid for another expensive full-page full-color advertisement in Jane's Defense Weekly, providing more details of his plans for an invincible defense (which is presumably available for a fee to any nation). Under this system, the advertisement explains, a small fraction of the population will practice "Vedic Technology". This will create an increased national coherence which will strengthen the nation's cultural integrity. This will create, the advertisement explains, a barrier of "invincible armor" which will "automatically repel any negative influence coming from outside". It is unclear how this spiritual coherence will stop an invading tank division, but perhaps this will be explained to nations which pay the fee for access to "Vedic technology". --Stephen V Cole
