Turkey has completed testing two prototypes of a new 40mm automatic grenade launcher. These have an effective range of 1500 meters and a maximum range of 2500 meters. The weapon weighs 37 kilograms (without ammunition) and can be mounted on a tripod or vehicle. The weapon can fire all standard types of 40mm grenades including the US versions.--Stephen V Cole
