Gulfstream is offering the AN/ALQ-204 Matador infrared jammer as an option or upgrade for its Gulfstream-V and Gulfstream-IVSP business jets (many of which are used by governments). The Matador system, used on various civilian aircraft, provides protection against ground-launched and air-launched infrared (i.e., heat-seeking) missiles. It can be installed on an aircraft during its periodic maintenance.--Stephen V Cole
