An F-22 Raptor made a one-engine landing on 23 August after a loose fitting caused an oil leak on an accessory drive. Test protocols require the associated engine to be shut down in such cases. The aircraft was undamaged and landed safely. While not a formal test, it did prove the ruggedness of the Raptor. --Stephen V Cole
